Building a brighter future
Roundhill Solar Farm would be located in between Stock Green and Stock Wood next to Roundhill Wood, in the Wychavon District of Worcestershire.
This location has been carefully chosen for its potential to deliver solar powered electricity to the grid. The planned solar farm will generate 83GWh of electricity per year, which is the equivalent energy needs of over 18,000 Wychavon homes and CO2 savings of over 1,200,000 tonnes.
A considerable contribution to the UK’s carbon and renewable energy generation targets for 2050.
We are also planning to install batteries to store electricity which can be fed back into the local energy network to help balance the grid at times of high demand or when solar irradiance is lower.

Welcome to the Roundhill Solar Farm Public Consultation. JBM are proposing to build a 49.9MW solar farm in between Stock Green and Stock Wood next to Roundhill Wood, in the Wychavon District of Worcestershire. The scheme would occupy around 287 acres of moderate-quality agricultural land, and deliver more renewable generation than the equivalent residential needs of 18,000 Wychavon homes.
